Varicose Veins | Laser Vein Treatment | Microphlebectomy | Phoenix | Mesa
There are many new minimally invasive treatments for smaller, superficial varicose veins that can be performed in our office, and with local anesthesia. Microphlebectomy, sometimes called ambulatory phlebectomy, is a minimally-invasive method of treating superficial small varicose veins through tiny incisions in the skin.
Recent advances have made it possible to perform the procedure using only local anesthesia and light sedation in a doctor’s office as an outpatient. After the microphlebectomy you will be asked to wear compression garments temporarily. The incisions typically heal within two weeks.
Doctors Vranic and Tarlian believe that well-informed patients who are involved and proactive in their care are more likely to achieve better outcomes. To help facilitate this, they will be happy to personally consult with you to answer your questions and fully-explain the treatment options for your condition.
