End Stage Renal Disease

End Stage Renal Disease is the final stage of kidney disease. Chronic kidney disease causes your kidneys, whose job is to filter excess water and waste from your blood and urine, to lose this function over time. It means your kidneys no longer function well enough to meet the needs of daily life. If left untreated this disease can result in a life-threatening emergency.
